Charlie schedule on Deployment

Charlie and I had a beautiful last few weeks together and celebrated our 2nd anniversary in San Francisco and Napa Valley. Then the drive home was a little bit of a disaster until we got to Texas. First the car started to overheat and we had to blast the heat and roll down the windows to manage that obstacle in 117 degree weather. Then we slept in the car and went about 3 days without a shower before we finally (thank goodness) got to Mimi's where we could relax and then the Lake. He left the 9th to go back to Cali and finish up his training.

Now, It is time for Charlie to leave for Japan. He flys out Thursday night at midnight (technically Friday morning) and flys to Okinawa where he will stay through September to do boat training excercises. Starting in October he will board the USS Tortuga and head to the Philippines to meet other marines and continue training. Come November, our boys will move to Korea to conduct training with the Republic of Korea Armed Forces. When that training is complete they will return to Okinawa for the remainder of their tour. Charlie has everyones address and phone numbers so don't be suprised if you recieve a phone call at random hours and take it easy on him if you do end up getting a call at midnight or something... there is a 14 hour difference in our time zones.
