I spent a couple hours last night at the marine wives deployment meeting going over every detail about Charlie's departure and still managed to make a list a page long of more questions I had. Here's what I do know... They are scheduled to leave between August 16th-20th (our anniversary is the 18th, nice) and scheduled to return mid-January. I'm going to post a little countdown calendar on here if I can figure out how to do this.
You should go to http://www.skype.com/ to download the video-chat software for free since he will have that capability and you can talk to him! He will also most likely have an international cell phone with him so keeping in touch shouldn't be too too hard unless they are on the boat. Most of the time they will be in Okinawa, Japan.
I have posted his mailing address so you can write him letters and send him care packages but make sure if you send him a package you send it priority mail or it will take a month to get to him. Charlie and i will keep you posted!!
